Programme Overview
The Sustainability & Environmental Studies MSc provides cross-disciplinary study of sustainability and environmental decision-making.
Students examine environmental management and policy, circular economy, environmental impact assessment and climate-related development challenges.
The programme allows students to tailor their curriculum from classes across Strathclyde's four faculties.
Industry projects provide opportunities to work on practical sustainability challenges with external organisations.
The course has operated since 1992 and has produced graduates across private, public and voluntary-sector sustainability roles.
Entry Requirements
Applicants from all academic backgrounds are considered.
Relevant backgrounds can include arts, business, education, engineering, geography, journalism, languages, law, science and social sciences.
Applicants must demonstrate suitability for postgraduate interdisciplinary sustainability study.

Scholarship Information
Faculty of Engineering international postgraduate scholarships are available to eligible applicants. Additional environmental, sustainability and external scholarships may also be available. Funding varies by intake, fee status and study mode.
