Job Description
The Mid-Level Cloud Engineer supports Boeing’s proprietary Digital Infrastructure Segment. The engineer deploys complex engineering applications to cloud platforms, creates infrastructure-as-code solutions, manages application migrations and works with DevSecOps and cybersecurity teams to maintain secure, standardised environments.
Responsibilities
• Deploy and configure complex engineering and enterprise applications.
• Integrate cloud services with local edge-computing infrastructure.
• Plan and execute migrations from on-premises environments.
• Develop and maintain Terraform infrastructure modules.
• Provision secure compute, storage and network resources.
• Work with software vendors on architecture and licensing requirements.
• Prevent configuration drift across development, test and production.
• Monitor and optimise cloud-resource performance.
Eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least five years of related experience or an equivalent education and experience combination.
• At least three years of experience with public-cloud platforms.
• At least one year of DevOps experience.
• Active US Secret security clearance.
• US citizenship and ability to work completely onsite.
• Boeing will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
