UCO Aero operates a platform for education discovery, career opportunities, guidance bookings, events, insights, recruitment services, employee services and related account features. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information when you visit or use UCO Aero.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to the UCO Aero website and services, including education and programme discovery, pathways, institutions, guidance and counselling bookings, career listings and applications, events and registrations, insights and published content, user accounts and profiles, recruiter and employee portals, administrator tools, contact forms, notifications, security features, privacy settings, cookies and analytics.

It does not apply to third-party websites, platforms or services linked from UCO Aero. Those services have their own privacy policies.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on the services you use, we may collect your name, email address, account and authentication details, profile information, education and employment history, resume and other documents, profile images, cover letters, saved jobs and programmes, guidance booking details, appointment preferences, event registration details, contact and enquiry information, recruiter or organization information, and notification, marketing and privacy preferences.

2.1 Career applications

When you save or submit a career application, we may process the related job and company details, application status, application progress, cover letter, resume, resume filename and application timestamps. Submitted applications may be shared with the relevant employer or authorised recruiter.

2.2 Guidance and counselling bookings

When you request guidance or counselling, we may process the information needed to arrange and provide the service, including your contact details, selected service or time, appointment details and information you voluntarily provide in a message or enquiry.

2.3 Events, education and content

We may process information needed to provide event registration and participation, saved programmes, educational discovery, content interactions and communications related to those services.

2.4 Information collected automatically

We may receive technical and usage information such as browser type, device information, pages viewed, approximate location derived from technical information, security logs and request information.

3. Cookies and Analytics

UCO Aero uses essential cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, navigation and core functionality.

Optional analytics require consent. The analytics choice is stored in the uco_analytics_consent cookie for up to 180 days.

UCO Aero uses Microsoft Clarity on eligible public pages after analytics consent is granted. UCO Aero also records first-party page-view and attribution information, such as page path, landing path, referrer host, referrer type, first-touch attribution and session attribution. Analytics are excluded from account, employee, recruiter, administrator and authentication areas.

You may allow analytics or choose essential-only functionality. Essential site functionality works without optional analytics.

4. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to provide and maintain UCO Aero services; create and secure accounts; manage profiles and saved content; provide education, career and guidance services; arrange bookings and respond to enquiries; process event registrations; save, retrieve and submit applications; store resumes and documents; support employers, recruiters, employees and administrators; send service notifications and requested communications; send marketing communications where permitted; improve content, navigation and services; maintain security and prevent misuse; comply with legal obligations; resolve disputes; and enforce our agreements.

5. How We Share Personal Information

We may share information with the employer or authorised recruiter connected with a submitted application; guidance or counselling personnel involved in a requested booking; event organisers or service providers where needed to provide an event; UCO Aero employees and administrators who require access for their duties; providers supporting authentication, databases, file storage, hosting, content management, communications and analytics; Microsoft Clarity when analytics consent has been granted; authorities or advisers where legally required; and a successor organization involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring or asset transfer.

6. Marketing Communications

We may send marketing emails or promotional communications where permitted and according to your preferences. You may change your marketing choice through Privacy Choices or by contacting connect@ucoaero.com. Marketing emails will include an unsubscribe method where required by law.

7. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information; withdraw consent; change analytics, personalisation, career recommendation and marketing preferences; request information about how information is used; object to or restrict certain processing; and submit a privacy complaint. If you withdraw analytics consent, UCO Aero will stop initiating optional analytics on eligible public pages.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, manage accounts and bookings, maintain records, protect security, resolve disputes and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods may vary by information type and purpose.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. No online service can guarantee complete security.

10. International Processing

Our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we take appropriate steps to protect information during such processing.

11. Children's Privacy

UCO Aero services are not intended for children who are prohibited from using the service under applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, contact us so we can review the matter.

We may update this Policy when our services, data practices or legal obligations change. We will publish the updated version on this page and revise the Last updated date.
