Job Description

The Nuclear Operations Engineer develops practical methods for operating and deploying Antares reactor systems. The role connects engineering, safety, procedures, testing and field operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop reactor operating concepts, plans and procedures.
• Translate design and safety requirements into executable operations.
• Support reactor testing and operational-readiness activities.
• Coordinate engineering, safety, maintenance and site personnel.
• Identify operational risks and develop mitigations.
• Support reactor-system operation and deployment.

Eligibility

• Relevant engineering or nuclear-operations education.
• Experience with nuclear facilities, reactor systems or highly regulated operations.
• Strong procedural and technical communication abilities.
• Ability to work onsite in Idaho Falls.
• Ability to satisfy US export-control requirements.
