Job Description

The Senior Firmware Engineer creates embedded software for Antares’ microreactor hardware. The role integrates sensors, actuators, communication buses, control algorithms and hardware-in-the-loop test environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement embedded reactor firmware.
• Develop drivers and interfaces for sensors and actuators.
• Integrate communication buses and custom electronics.
• Implement real-time control and monitoring behaviour.
• Bring up and debug prototype hardware.
• Develop verification tests and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with controls, safety, electrical and test teams.

Eligibility

• Relevant computer, electrical or embedded-systems engineering education.
• Significant professional embedded-firmware experience.
• Experience debugging software directly on hardware.
• Ability to work onsite in Los Angeles.
• Ability to satisfy US export-control requirements.
