Senior level: USD 150,000–185,000. Staff level: USD 180,000–220,000. Equity may also be offered.

Job Description

The engineer owns electrical-system architecture and integration for Antares reactor hardware. Work connects power distribution, wiring, instrumentation, controls, safety requirements and physical reactor systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop reactor electrical-system architectures.
• Define electrical interfaces and system requirements.
• Design power-distribution, instrumentation and control solutions.
• Perform design calculations and technical trade studies.
• Coordinate electrical hardware with reactor and mechanical systems.
• Support prototype assembly, testing and verification.
• Review designs and mentor other engineers.

Eligibility

• Electrical-engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Significant electrical systems design and integration experience.
• Experience developing complex, safety-sensitive hardware.
• Ability to work onsite in Los Angeles.
• Ability to satisfy US export-control requirements.
