Job Description
The ASIC/FPGA Digital Design Engineer will join Boeing Electronic Products and support advanced digital-subsystem development for aerospace applications. Depending on programme requirements, the engineer may work on ASIC, FPGA or combined ASIC/FPGA solutions. The position covers digital architecture, RTL implementation, design analysis, interface development, integration and technical leadership across complex electronic products.
Responsibilities
• Develop digital architectures for ASIC and FPGA subsystems.
• Design and implement synthesizable RTL.
• Define interfaces between digital devices, processors, memory and supporting electronics.
• Conduct design reviews and resolve digital-hardware issues.
• Support synthesis, timing closure and implementation activities.
• Collaborate with verification, circuit-board, firmware and systems-engineering teams.
• Support laboratory integration and hardware checkout.
• Lead subsystem-development and cross-functional technical activities.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to technical standards.
• Document architecture, design decisions and verification evidence.
Eligibility
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or another directly related technical discipline.
• Relevant professional experience with ASIC, FPGA or digital-hardware development.
• Ability to obtain a United States Secret security clearance.
• United States citizenship is required for the security clearance.
• Ability to work completely on-site.
