Job Description
The Assembly Mechanic supports production of advanced composite aerospace components. The mechanic operates manufacturing equipment, monitors process conditions and uses hand and power tools to assemble, fabricate and finish composite parts.
Responsibilities
• Operate composite-fabrication equipment.
• Monitor equipment and manufacturing-process conditions.
• Use hand and power tools during fabrication and assembly.
• Prepare composite materials, tooling and components.
• Support layup, bonding, soldering or autoclave processes.
• Follow drawings, work instructions and quality requirements.
• Inspect completed work for process compliance.
• Maintain a safe and organised production area.
Eligibility
• At least one year of manufacturing-environment experience.
• At least one year operating and continuously monitoring production equipment.
• At least one year using hand or handheld power tools.
• Ability to work any assigned shift.
• Ability to complete required training and probationary requirements.
