Job Description

The Associate Material Review Engineer reviews non-conforming aerostructure components and determines suitable engineering dispositions. The engineer supports repair design, repair substantiation, Material Review Board activities and integration of new materials and manufacturing methods.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate non-conforming aircraft parts and assemblies.
• Develop repair designs and engineering dispositions.
• Interpret drawings, specifications and maintenance documents.
• Support Material Review Board decisions.
• Coordinate with production, quality and design teams.
• Analyse machined, sheet-metal, welded and composite components.
• Initiate design and process changes.
• Document repair substantiation and approval evidence.

Eligibility

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• At least two years of engineering experience.
• Ability to interpret technical requirements and collaborate across engineering and production teams.
