Job Description
Boeing Weapons and Missile Systems is seeking an avionics power systems engineer in Saint Charles, Missouri. The engineer supports the complete lifecycle of electronic power subsystems, from requirements and supplier management through integration, qualification and flightworthiness testing.
The role involves hardware, software and firmware integration for advanced weapon-system electronics.
Responsibilities
• Develop avionics power-system requirements and specifications.
• Design and integrate electronic circuits and circuit-board assemblies.
• Manage supplier technical deliverables.
• Integrate hardware, software and firmware.
• Conduct laboratory, missile-integration and qualification testing.
• Resolve electrical and electronic system problems.
• Support flightworthiness and production activities.
Eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is required.
• Experience developing avionics products or electronic circuits is required.
• Must satisfy U.S. export-control requirements.
• Must be able to obtain applicable security clearance.
• Must satisfy Boeing employment requirements.
