Job Description
The engineer supports Boeing Global Services aircraft structures by analysing metallic and composite components, repairs and modifications. The position evaluates structural strength, fatigue life and damage tolerance and prepares certification evidence demonstrating compliance with airworthiness requirements.
Responsibilities
• Perform stress and structural-strength analysis.
• Evaluate metallic and composite aircraft structures.
• Conduct fatigue and damage-tolerance assessments.
• Analyse structural repairs and modifications.
• Develop finite-element and analytical models.
• Interpret material properties and structural test data.
• Prepare certification reports and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with design, materials, certification and customer teams.
• Review the work of less-experienced engineers.
Eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
• Relevant aircraft structural-analysis experience.
• Understanding of stress, fatigue and damage-tolerance methods.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and material specifications.
• Meet U.S. Person export-control requirements.
• Be legally authorised to work without employer visa sponsorship.
