Job Description
The Experienced Simulation Software Engineer joins Boeing’s Government Vehicle Health Management Systems team. The engineer designs, develops, integrates and validates simulation software, virtual environments and training frameworks while modernising legacy applications within a secure Agile environment.
Responsibilities
• Design and develop simulation models, visualisations, virtual platforms and frameworks.
• Work with stakeholders to define simulation requirements and system dynamics.
• Conduct modelling, simulation, testing and performance analysis.
• Collect and process data used by simulation applications.
• Validate simulation code against benchmark or real-world data.
• Document algorithms, software designs and simulation specifications.
• Integrate simulation software with training devices and supporting systems.
• Modernise and migrate legacy software to current platforms.
• Support simulation-software project planning and execution.
Eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least five years of experience developing and debugging C or C++ software.
• At least two years of experience with cloud platforms and containerisation.
• Ability to obtain a US security clearance requiring US citizenship.
• Ability to complete Boeing’s CodeVue technical assessment.
• Ability to work completely onsite in Hazelwood or Berkeley.
• Boeing will not sponsor employment visas.
