Job Description
The Strategic Sourcing and Contracting Specialist will support Boeing Corporate Services procurement. The position develops, manages and improves sourcing and contracting strategies, leads supplier negotiations and supports the integration and performance of Boeing’s wider supply chain.
Responsibilities
• Develop category and strategic-sourcing plans.
• Conduct market and supplier analysis.
• Prepare and manage sourcing events.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial contract terms.
• Evaluate supplier proposals and business risks.
• Administer contracts and supplier relationships.
• Coordinate procurement requirements with internal stakeholders.
• Identify cost, performance and process-improvement opportunities.
Eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree or an accepted equivalent qualification.
• Possess relevant strategic-sourcing, procurement or contracting experience.
• Be capable of negotiating supplier agreements.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and stakeholder-management ability.
• Meet U.S. Person export-control requirements.
• Be legally authorized to work without employer visa sponsorship.
