Job Description

The OFP captain leads an engineering team developing real-time embedded software for the F-15 mission computer. The software interfaces with radar, weapons, sensors and cockpit displays.

The role covers technical design, code implementation, integration, laboratory testing, flight testing, release execution and supplier coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead F-15 Operational Flight Program development.
• Develop software architecture, requirements and algorithms.
• Lead implementation and integration of software components.
• Develop verification plans and test environments.
• Coordinate laboratory and flight-test activities.
• Lead CI/CD testing and software releases.
• Provide technical direction to engineers and suppliers.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• At least seven years of embedded real-time software experience is required.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to obtain a U.S. Secret clearance.
• Must complete Boeing’s CodeVue technical assessment.
