Job Description

The engineer supports Boeing Test and Evaluation by creating fabrication and installation plans for aircraft flight-test modifications. The role coordinates material and component sourcing, procurement, fabrication, assembly and installation across multiple programmes.

Responsibilities

• Develop fabrication and installation plans.
• Define material and component requirements.
• Source fabricated parts internally and externally.
• Coordinate procurement and supplier activities.
• Track parts from procurement through installation.
• Support aircraft modification and test-hardware installation.
• Review designs for manufacturability.
• Resolve fabrication and assembly issues.
• Maintain manufacturing plans and records.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in an applicable engineering discipline.
• Relevant manufacturing or production-engineering experience.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience creating fabrication or installation plans.
• Meet U.S. Person export-control requirements.
• Ability to obtain the required security clearance.
