Official expected annual salary range. The successful candidate may also be eligible for Ford’s annual compensation bonus programme.

Job Description

The developer joins Ford’s Connectivity Platform Software team, which builds testing solutions for automotive infotainment, connectivity, data management, sensors and actuator-control technologies.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automated test tools, libraries and scripts.

Execute and improve automated test suites.

Test embedded-to-cloud functionality using automotive hardware benches.

Investigate vehicle-network, connectivity and embedded-platform failures.

Support continuous integration and automated validation processes.

Eligibility

Relevant degree or equivalent technical experience.

Experience developing test automation for embedded systems.

Working knowledge of automotive CAN, Ethernet and diagnostic protocols.

Experience with hardware test benches, microcontrollers and debugging equipment.

Knowledge of Linux shell scripting, Git, Jenkins or comparable development tools.
