Job Description
The engineer develops foundational C++ software for GM’s Autonomy Interface Software team, supporting robust interfaces, sensing integration and degradation handling.
Responsibilities
Design scalable low-latency embedded software.
Develop C++ components for Linux-based vehicle systems.
Integrate cameras, radar, LiDAR and autonomy interfaces.
Implement system-degradation and fault-transition behaviour.
Document software architecture and interfaces.
Debug and validate software on vehicle-compute hardware.
Eligibility
Relevant computer-science or engineering qualification.
Professional C++ software-development experience.
Experience developing Linux-based systems.
Understanding of concurrent, low-latency or embedded software.
Strong architecture, testing and debugging abilities.
