Job Description

The engineer serves as an autonomous-vehicle safety-case technical lead within GM’s Safety Assurance for Effective Autonomous Driving Software department.

Responsibilities

Lead autonomous-driving safety-case development.

Define safety claims, arguments and supporting evidence.

Coordinate safety assurance across engineering teams.

Identify safety risks and evidence gaps.

Maintain safety cases as autonomous features evolve.

Present safety conclusions to technical and programme leadership.

Eligibility

Advanced systems, functional-safety or autonomous-vehicle engineering experience.

Experience developing structured safety cases.

Understanding of autonomous-driving software and hardware.

Ability to lead complex cross-functional technical programmes.

Strong technical writing and communication skills.
