Job Description

The engineer develops software for satellite command and control at Millennium Space Systems. The role supports mission operations, spacecraft telemetry, command processing, ground-system integration and operational troubleshooting.

The engineer works with spacecraft, systems, operations and cybersecurity teams to deliver reliable ground capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop satellite command-and-control software.
• Maintain ground-system applications and services.
• Integrate software with spacecraft and mission systems.
• Process spacecraft commands and telemetry.
• Test and troubleshoot ground-software components.
• Support mission operations and anomaly resolution.
• Maintain technical and operational documentation.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is required.
• Relevant ground-software or application-development experience is required.
• Applicants must be U.S. citizens.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Must satisfy ITAR and special-facility access requirements.
