Job Description
The administrator ensures system hardware, operating systems, software and related procedures satisfy organisational and security policies. The role supports reliable and secure technology services for national-security space programmes.
Work includes configuration, maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, access control, patching and technical support.
Responsibilities
• Install and administer servers and operating systems.
• Maintain secure system configurations.
• Monitor system availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network problems.
• Manage user accounts and access permissions.
• Apply security patches and software updates.
• Maintain system documentation and operational procedures.
Eligibility
• Relevant IT systems-administration experience is required.
• Must understand operating systems, networks and security controls.
• Applicants must be U.S. citizens.
• Must be eligible for and maintain a security clearance.
• Must satisfy ITAR and special-facility access requirements.
