Job Description
The engineer develops safety-critical embedded software for avionics. Work includes low-level drivers, real-time operating systems, bootloaders, hardware interfaces, software architecture, automated testing and on-target debugging.
Responsibilities
• Lead embedded software design and development.
• Develop real-time software for avionics.
• Define hardware and software interfaces.
• Perform board bring-up and on-target debugging.
• Develop automated software tests.
• Maintain requirements traceability.
• Integrate software with avionics hardware.
Eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is required.
• Significant embedded-software experience is required.
• Must satisfy U.S. Person export-control requirements.
• Must be able to obtain a U.S. Secret clearance.
• Must satisfy Boeing employment requirements.
