Job Description
The engineer leads requirements, architecture, software development, integration and verification for SATCOM mission-planning systems. The work combines software engineering with communications-system and mission-system expertise.
Responsibilities
• Lead software-system requirements development.
• Define mission-planning software architecture.
• Coordinate software and communications-system interfaces.
• Guide implementation and integration activities.
• Develop verification and validation strategies.
• Review technical products and engineering documentation.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is required.
• Significant software and systems-engineering experience is required.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Must satisfy Boeing employment requirements.
