Job Description
The hiring requisition covers Level 2 through Level 5 mechanical-engineering positions supporting Lockheed Martin Space programmes in Sunnyvale.
Responsibilities
Create mechanical components and assemblies.
Produce two-dimensional engineering drawings.
Perform GD&T and tolerance-stack analysis.
Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes.
Support machining, welding, heat treatment and assembly.
Collaborate with stress, thermal, production, test and quality teams.
Eligibility
Relevant mechanical-engineering degree or equivalent experience.
Experience creating engineering drawings.
Knowledge of ASME Y14.5, GD&T and tolerance-stack analysis.
Understanding of mechanical-design and manufacturing principles.
US citizenship and ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.
