Job Description
The principal engineer leads mechanical and propulsion development for next-generation aerospace vehicles, missiles and solid rocket motors.
Responsibilities
Design solid rocket motor components.
Lead complete propulsion-system development.
Coordinate structural, vibration and thermal analyses.
Integrate propulsion systems with vehicle structures and avionics.
Plan and oversee prototype testing.
Analyse test results and improve designs.
Eligibility
Advanced mechanical, aerospace or propulsion-engineering qualification.
Extensive solid rocket motor or propulsion experience.
Technical leadership of complex aerospace programmes.
Understanding of structural mechanics and thermodynamics.
Ability to satisfy US citizenship and security requirements.
