Job Description

This manufacturing-engineering role supports the B-52 CERP programme by translating engineering designs into safe, repeatable and efficient production processes. Work includes material and process selection, tooling, work instructions, producibility reviews, production troubleshooting and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing and assembly plans.
• Translate engineering designs into production instructions.
• Select appropriate tools, equipment, materials and processes.
• Review designs for manufacturability and producibility.
• Support production implementation and aircraft modification.
• Investigate material and manufacturing nonconformances.
• Develop corrective actions for recurring production problems.
• Improve production cost, quality, flow and safety.
• Coordinate with design, quality, supply-chain and operations teams.
• Maintain manufacturing plans and technical documentation.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, mathematics, data science, physics or chemistry.
• Relevant engineering or manufacturing experience appropriate to the selected level.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Understanding of manufacturing materials and production processes.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance requiring U.S. citizenship.
• Employer visa sponsorship is not available.
