Job Description
Boeing Defence Australia is seeking an avionics team lead for the P-8A Poseidon programme at RAAF Base Edinburgh. The position leads engineers supporting aircraft, mission-support systems and training systems.
The team lead provides avionics expertise, reviews technical analyses, approves engineering documentation and manages projects from initial concept through delivery.
Responsibilities
• Lead and mentor avionics engineering personnel.
• Coordinate aircraft-maintenance, troubleshooting and design activities.
• Provide support across the P-8A weapon system.
• Review and approve engineering reports and technical recommendations.
• Improve data-collection, assessment and reporting procedures.
• Lead projects from concept through delivery.
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and programme requirements.
Eligibility
• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent experience is required.
• Requires approximately 7–12 years of avionics, aircraft repair, analysis or engineering-support experience.
• Regulated aviation experience is required.
• Must be an Australian citizen.
• Strong technical-leadership and stakeholder-management skills are required.
