Job Description
The Chief Engineer holds delegated engineering authority and is responsible for technical integrity, safety, compliance and through-life performance across major Air programmes.
Responsibilities
Provide engineering authority across the Air portfolio.
Govern technical integrity and engineering delivery.
Oversee airworthiness and platform-safety management.
Lead multidisciplinary engineering organisations.
Assure complex, high-risk defence-air programmes.
Influence customers and senior stakeholders.
Eligibility
Approximately 15–20 or more years of defence-air engineering experience.
Extensive multidisciplinary engineering-leadership experience.
Expertise in systems engineering and engineering governance.
Airworthiness or platform-safety management experience.
Eligibility for appropriate security clearance.
