Job Description

The manager develops the engineering and regulatory strategy needed to authorise Kaleidos microreactor deployments. The role connects design requirements, safety analysis, systems engineering and military regulatory stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead reactor-deployment authorisation activities.
• Develop regulatory and systems-engineering strategies.
• Coordinate technical submittals and supporting evidence.
• Translate regulations into design and programme requirements.
• Work with safety, nuclear, test and programme teams.
• Engage military and government regulatory stakeholders.
• Track licensing risks, actions and approval milestones.

Eligibility

• Relevant nuclear, systems or regulatory engineering education.
• Significant nuclear licensing or regulatory experience.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Experience preparing complex regulatory documentation.
• Ability to work completely onsite in El Segundo.
• Eligibility to work with US export-controlled technology.
