$95,000 – $1,05,000 per year

Job Description

The graduate engineer works with design and production teams to manufacture safety-critical Kaleidos components and assemblies. The position supports process development, inspection, work instructions and production improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing and inspection of reactor components.
• Develop production methods for complex structures and mechanisms.
• Prepare work instructions and manufacturing specifications.
• Collaborate with design engineers on producibility.
• Support component fabrication and assembly.
• Investigate manufacturing problems and implement improvements.

Eligibility

• Recent or expected engineering degree relevant to manufacturing.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering drawings.
• CAD, fabrication or inspection experience from projects or internships.
• Interest in hands-on nuclear hardware development.
• Ability to work completely onsite in El Segundo.
• Eligibility to work with US export-controlled technology.
