Job Description
The Principal Software Engineer improves the development systems used by Radiant’s software and multidisciplinary engineering teams. The position supports efficient, reliable and traceable development of software used throughout the Kaleidos microreactor programme.
Responsibilities
• Define the technical strategy for developer-productivity systems.
• Build and maintain development, testing and deployment infrastructure.
• Improve software build speed, reliability and reproducibility.
• Establish engineering standards and automated quality controls.
• Support software used in a regulated nuclear-development environment.
• Mentor engineers and lead cross-team technical initiatives.
Eligibility
• Extensive professional software-engineering experience.
• Experience designing developer platforms, build systems or CI/CD infrastructure.
• Strong programming and software-architecture capabilities.
• Ability to lead technical programmes across engineering teams.
• Ability to work entirely onsite in El Segundo.
• Ability to satisfy US export-control requirements.
