Job Description
This manager leads electrical engineers responsible for the power architecture of Radiant’s portable nuclear microreactor. The work covers electrical generation, power conversion, distribution, protection and load integration.
Responsibilities
• Lead the reactor power-systems engineering team.
• Own electrical-system architecture and technical roadmaps.
• Develop power-generation, conversion and distribution systems.
• Establish electrical requirements and verification plans.
• Coordinate controls, mechanical, nuclear and test teams.
• Review designs and resolve system-level technical risks.
• Recruit, mentor and develop electrical engineers.
Eligibility
• Electrical engineering degree or equivalent technical experience.
• Extensive power-systems engineering experience.
• Previous engineering-team leadership experience.
• Experience delivering complex safety-critical electrical hardware.
• Ability to work completely onsite in El Segundo.
• Eligibility to work with US export-controlled technology.
