Job Description

The engineer develops test systems and procedures used to validate mechanical and fluid components within Radiant’s microreactor. Work extends from test design and instrumentation through execution, data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical and fluid-system test plans.
• Design test fixtures and instrumentation.
• Execute development and qualification testing.
• Acquire and analyse experimental data.
• Troubleshoot test equipment and reactor components.
• Document results and recommend design changes.
• Support acceptance testing and configuration control.

Eligibility

• Relevant mechanical, aerospace or related engineering degree.
• Experience testing mechanical or fluid systems.
• Knowledge of instrumentation and data acquisition.
• Ability to produce test procedures and reports.
• Ability to work completely onsite in El Segundo.
• Eligibility to work with US export-controlled technology.
