The engineer manages lighting-part requirements, CAD development, manufacturing feasibility, validation and final engineering release.
Responsibilities
Develop vehicle lighting components.
Create and release three-dimensional CAD geometry.
Define component requirements.
Coordinate optical, electrical and mechanical integration.
Support validation and compliance testing.
Lead suppliers through production release.
Eligibility
Relevant mechanical-engineering degree.
Mechanical product-design experience.
Ability to create three-dimensional geometry and sectional data.
Strong first-principles problem-solving ability.
Understanding of manufacturing and component-validation processes.
