Job Description

The engineer converts sketches and early concepts into functional physical products through rapid mechanical design, prototyping, fabrication and assembly.

Responsibilities

Develop mechanical designs from sketches and concepts.

Create prototype components and assemblies.

Produce CAD models and engineering drawings.

Support fabrication and vehicle assembly.

Solve design and packaging problems.

Coordinate technicians, fabricators and programme stakeholders.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.

Mechanical design and hands-on prototype-development experience.

Ability to develop hardware in short-duration build cycles.

Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.

Comfort working in a prototype workshop environment.
