Job Description

The Senior Data Engineer develops the data infrastructure required to collect, transform, store and deliver engineering and operational information. The position supports scalable data pipelines, distributed processing, governed data products and integration with analytics and machine-learning applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines.
• Develop ETL and ELT processes for engineering and operational datasets.
• Build secure data-storage and distributed-processing solutions.
• Integrate data from multiple applications and source systems.
• Implement data-quality monitoring and validation.
• Optimise data-platform performance and reliability.
• Support data scientists and application teams with production-ready datasets.
• Apply security, governance and access-control requirements.

Eligibility

• Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience.
• Senior-level data-engineering or software-development experience.
• Experience developing data pipelines and distributed data systems.
• Active US Secret security clearance.
• US citizenship.
• Ability to work completely onsite in Hazelwood.
• Boeing will not sponsor employment visas.
