Job Description
The Senior Data Scientist designs and deploys advanced data solutions for a Boeing Defense, Space & Security proprietary programme. The role uses distributed data systems, machine learning and engineering-domain knowledge to improve production and weapon-system operational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
• Define data requirements, collection methods and data-quality standards.
• Build systems that support data exploration and advanced analysis.
• Lead and mentor a team of data scientists.
• Develop and deploy machine-learning models.
• Integrate models into customer software environments.
• Incorporate engineering-domain knowledge into analytical models.
• Improve model accuracy, efficiency and scalability.
• Maintain data security, privacy and regulatory compliance.
• Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Eligibility
• Advanced professional experience in data science, machine learning or a related quantitative field.
• Experience developing and deploying machine-learning models.
• Ability to provide technical leadership to data-science teams.
• Active US Secret security clearance.
• US citizenship.
• Ability to work completely onsite in Hazelwood.
• Boeing will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
