Job Description

The Senior Product Review Engineer will provide direct engineering support to Boeing aircraft production. The engineer will evaluate electrical and electronic non-conformances, determine whether products can be accepted or require repair and create technically approved dispositions. The position includes interpreting electrical schematics, collaborating with manufacturing and quality teams and protecting aircraft safety and certification compliance.

Responsibilities

• Review aircraft electrical and electronic production non-conformances.
• Interpret electrical schematics, drawings and technical specifications.
• Develop engineering dispositions for manufacturing discrepancies.
• Determine appropriate repair, rework, replacement or acceptance actions.
• Perform technical analysis supporting product-review decisions.
• Coordinate solutions with design, manufacturing and quality organisations.
• Support root-cause investigations and recurrence-prevention activities.
• Maintain compliance with aircraft configuration and certification requirements.
• Provide technical guidance directly on the production floor.
• Complete the required Boeing liaison-engineering training rotation.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or another relevant technical discipline.
• At least five years of experience reading, interpreting or creating electrical schematics and specifications.
• Relevant experience appropriate to the Level 4 or Level 5 position.
• Ability to work second or third shift and support occasional overtime, weekends or holidays.
• Ability to meet United States export-control requirements.
