Job Description

The Senior Software Engineer develops complex mission-system applications throughout the full software lifecycle. Work includes modelling, implementation, simulation, verification, configuration management and technical leadership for collaborative Agile development teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement mission-system software.
• Develop software models and simulations.
• Perform software integration, testing and analysis.
• Guide smaller teams of software engineers.
• Review requirements, designs and source code.
• Maintain source code using approved version-control systems.
• Support automated DevOps processes and tools.
• Troubleshoot complex application and integration problems.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to acquire a US Secret clearance after starting.
• At least ten years of full-lifecycle software development, modelling, simulation, testing or analysis.
• Experience using C, C++, C#, Python, Java, Ada or Linux.
• At least ten years of experience with Git, ClearCase, Subversion or comparable version-control systems.
• Ability to complete Boeing’s CodeVue technical assessment.
