Job Description
The Level 4 Software Engineer contributes across the complete development lifecycle for advanced Skunk Works platforms. Work covers requirements generation, architecture, software design, implementation, integration and flight testing for disruptive aerospace capabilities involving autonomy and open-system architectures.
Responsibilities
• Develop requirements and software architectures.
• Design and implement mission and vehicle software.
• Integrate software with complex aircraft systems.
• Support laboratory, ground and flight testing.
• Diagnose difficult software and integration problems.
• Mentor engineers and contribute technical leadership.
• Prepare design, test and certification documentation.
Eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline with substantial professional experience.
• Advanced software-engineering and integration experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required programme access.
• Ability to work onsite in Palmdale.
• Strong technical leadership and communication abilities.
