Official Associate Level 2 range. Mid-Level Level 3 pays USD 89,500–137,250, while Senior Level 4 pays USD 115,750–177,500 per year.

Job Description

This multilevel Material Review Engineer supports Spirit Defense programmes by evaluating non-conforming aerospace structures and developing safe, compliant repair solutions. The role covers machined parts, sheet-metal structures, welded assemblies, non-metallic materials and advanced-composite components.

Responsibilities

• Review material and structural non-conformances.
• Develop engineering dispositions and repair instructions.
• Support Material Review Board decisions.
• Perform repair-design analysis and substantiation.
• Interpret aircraft drawings and maintenance documents.
• Coordinate with production, design and quality organisations.
• Implement design and process improvements.
• Support integration of new materials and repair methods.

Eligibility

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• At least two years of engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain a US security clearance.
• Higher experience levels require approximately five years for Mid-Level or ten years for Senior.
