Job Description
The engineer leads vehicle thermal attributes from initial target definition through final sign-off. The position focuses on thermal-management performance, heat-pump operation and efficiency optimisation, directly contributing to electric-vehicle range, energy use and environmental performance.
Responsibilities
• Define vehicle-level thermal-performance targets.
• Lead thermal attribute development and final sign-off.
• Optimise heat-pump operation and system efficiency.
• Coordinate simulation, testing and vehicle validation.
• Investigate thermal-performance issues and recommend solutions.
• Work across hardware, controls, calibration and programme teams.
Eligibility
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering or a related discipline.
• Extensive automotive thermal-system development experience.
• Strong knowledge of heat pumps, HVAC and thermal management.
• Experience taking vehicle attributes from targets through production validation.
• Ability to lead cross-functional technical decisions.
