Job Description

The Commercial Application Engineer converts customer power and grid requirements into technically sound and commercially competitive solutions. The role coordinates sales, engineering, finance and risk teams throughout the inquiry-to-order process.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate customer technical and commercial requirements.
• Configure industrial control and digital power solutions.
• Develop technical scopes, cost estimates and proposals.
• Coordinate sales, engineering, finance and risk reviews.
• Identify technical, contractual and execution risks.
• Present proposed solutions to customers.
• Support negotiations and contract clarification.
• Transfer awarded projects to execution teams.

Eligibility

• Engineering degree or comparable technical qualification.
• Experience with power-generation, grid or industrial control systems.
• Ability to develop technical and commercial proposals.
• Understanding of project costs, risks and customer requirements.
• Strong cross-functional communication and coordination skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
