Job Description
The engineer performs deterministic safety analyses for BWRX-300 applications using thermal-hydraulic and plant-transient methods. The results support reactor licensing, regulatory compliance and plant design.
Responsibilities
• Perform BWRX-300 transient and thermal-hydraulic analyses.
• Evaluate boiling-water-reactor stability.
• Conduct containment and integrated plant-response analyses.
• Prepare technical calculations and reports.
• Present complex issues and recommended solutions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.
Eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree in nuclear, mechanical, electrical, chemical or comparable engineering.
• At least two years of relevant nuclear experience; alternatively, a relevant master’s degree.
• Ability to access U.S. export-controlled information.
• Legally authorised to work in the United States.
