Job Description
The Environmental Inventory Manager owns the systems, processes and analyses supporting GE Vernova’s corporate greenhouse-gas emissions inventory.
The role ensures that environmental and emissions data is accurate, traceable, audit-ready and suitable for regulatory reporting, climate disclosures and long-term decarbonization planning across GE Vernova’s global energy businesses.
Responsibilities
• Manage GE Vernova’s global greenhouse-gas emissions inventory.
• Maintain systems and processes for collecting environmental data.
• Validate Scope 1, Scope 2 and applicable Scope 3 emissions information.
• Establish calculation methodologies, controls and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate environmental reporting across businesses and locations.
• Prepare data for regulatory filings and public sustainability disclosures.
• Support internal and external assurance or audit activities.
• Investigate data-quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor changes to emissions-accounting standards and regulations.
• Produce analysis supporting emissions-reduction and decarbonization decisions.
Eligibility
• Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, data management or a related discipline.
• Experience managing corporate environmental or greenhouse-gas inventories.
• Understanding of emissions-accounting principles and reporting frameworks.
• Experience implementing environmental data controls and quality-assurance processes.
• Ability to manage large datasets from multiple business units and countries.
• Strong analytical, documentation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
