Job Description

The Airline Optimization Horizons Analyst evaluates how JetBlue’s network plans affect operational performance. The analyst creates planning scenarios, forecasts disruption risk and works with network and operational teams to improve schedule design and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Identify inefficiencies in airline network and operational plans.
• Develop schedule and resource-improvement opportunities.
• Build schedule-planning scenarios.
• Measure revenue, strategic and cost effects of network decisions.
• Forecast operability outcomes and disruption risks.
• Coordinate with Route Planning, Schedule Planning and Operations.
• Improve schedule-design and operational-planning processes.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant quantitative discipline or accepted equivalent experience.
• One year of analytical or related experience through work or education.
• Strong SQL, Python or R capabilities.
• Strong airline-business understanding.
• Excellent data-analysis and problem-solving ability.
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Legally authorised to work in the United States without sponsorship.
