Job Description
The Ground Operations Crew supports safe and efficient aircraft arrivals and departures at Boston Logan International Airport. The position combines ramp operations, baggage handling, aircraft servicing, ground-service-equipment operation and occasional customer assistance in a physically demanding outdoor airport environment.
Responsibilities
• Load and unload customer baggage safely.
• Operate tugs, ground-power units, water trucks, lavatory trucks and de-icing equipment.
• Guide aircraft into and out of parking positions.
• Assist with aircraft pushback and external servicing.
• Help clean and prepare aircraft cabins for departure.
• Assist customers who require additional boarding support.
• Communicate with operational teams using radios and headsets.
• Maintain a safe ramp environment and follow operating procedures.
Eligibility
• High-school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years old.
• One year of customer-service or sales experience.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Valid driver’s licence and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SIDA badge.
• Ability to handle baggage weighing up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Legally authorised to work in the United States without sponsorship.
