Job Description
The Senior Analyst Operations SMS supports JetBlue’s Director of Operations office by administering Safety Management System activities. The position reviews corrective actions, monitors regulatory commitments, manages safety data and supports investigations and risk-control improvements.
Responsibilities
• Administer the Director of Operations Safety Management System.
• Support FAA compliance and voluntary-disclosure investigations.
• Review corrective actions and comprehensive fixes.
• Track corrective-action implementation and closure.
• Maintain regulatory and SMS data.
• Conduct data-quality and reconciliation checks.
• Review safety events and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support hazard identification and risk mitigation.
Eligibility
• Relevant education and professional experience specified by JetBlue.
• Experience with aviation safety, regulatory compliance or operational assurance.
• Ability to evaluate corrective actions and regulatory evidence.
• Strong analytical, documentation and stakeholder-communication skills.
• Ability to travel approximately 20%.
• Legally authorised to work in the United States without sponsorship.
