Job Description

The Senior Outage Engineer develops complex service tools and equipment for domestic and international nuclear-plant outages. The role combines mechanical design, structural analysis, fabrication and field support.

Responsibilities

• Design complex nuclear outage tools and equipment.
• Perform mechanical and structural design analysis.
• Produce fabrication drawings and specifications.
• Develop operational instructions for new tooling.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks.
• Review and verify engineering designs.
• Support field teams during emergent nuclear-outage issues.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• At least eight years of mechanical engineering or machine-design experience.
• Ability to obtain commercial nuclear-site access.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
• US-person status due to export-controlled technology.
