Job Description
Create reliability initiatives covering embedded hardware and utility software used in transmission and distribution systems. The engineer will improve protection relays, grid-edge devices, digital substations and advanced control platforms throughout their lifecycle.
Responsibilities
• Develop product-lifecycle reliability programmes.
• Lead reliability analysis and failure investigations.
• Improve embedded grid-control hardware and software.
• Define validation plans and reliability metrics.
• Coordinate corrective actions across engineering teams.
• Work with utilities on deployment and asset-performance issues.
Eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related discipline.
• Extensive reliability, systems or product-engineering experience.
• Experience in the energy or utility sector.
• Knowledge of embedded hardware and utility software.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and technical communication.
