Job Description
This senior technician maintains turbine availability through advanced troubleshooting, repair, safety compliance, diagnostic analysis and peer mentoring.
Responsibilities
• Diagnose variable-pitch and variable-speed turbine faults.
• Maintain electrical, mechanical and hydraulic equipment.
• Interpret technical drawings and maintenance procedures.
• Develop timely fault-resolution plans.
• Document work through service-reporting systems.
• Mentor peers and coordinate with remote operations.
Eligibility
• High-school diploma or GED.
• Four years of wind troubleshooting plus lead, EHS or quality experience, or five years of wind troubleshooting.
• Ability to pass the technical knowledge assessment.
• Valid driving licence.
• Capacity to climb turbines and perform demanding physical work.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
